1995 - current | Glenaeon Village Belrose

Glenaeon Village has an outlook across bushland towards the ocean, perched high on the ridge at Belrose. The village provides over 55’s accommodation in self and assisted care as well as extensive social facilities in the community centre, indoor pool and fitness centre.

Stages 5 – 7 of the village consisted of over 90 self care apartment and townhomes, all with level access. Every design decision focused on the ongoing comfort of residents, from the total accessibility for each dwelling through to the sustainable features reducing running costs.

All accommodation was designed as either a direct access townhouse (over/under style with individual garage adjoining the residence) or as part of an apartment building with level access at upper and lower ground.

Building the village in stages allowed good feedback from residents to be incorporated into new dwellings. The simple, elegant and varied designs with generous private terraces and balconies have proved popular with the market.
